Historique :	Cadre Louis XVI. 'Saint Hugues de Châteauneuf, évêque de Grenoble vit en rêve 7 étoiles guider sa marche vers un monastère s'élevant dans le désert, et il comprit le lendemain, quand il vit arriver saint Bruno et ses six compagnons, que son rêve était prophétique. Le beau blason des Chartreux a conservé ces sept étoiles..'. Texte extrait du livre d'Emile Mâle, p. 506, L'art religieux du XVIIe siècle. Bruno fut béatifié en 1514 et sanctifié en 1623. Son image ne se développe qu'à partir du 17e siècle : nombreuses gravures, peintures et sculptures.
