Historique :	Découvert par l'association "Les Amis de la cathédrale Saint-Bénigne" ? Ce chapiteau incomplet. Le tailloir, presque carré, présente des traces de layage sur sa face sommitale. La corbeille, incomplète, est décorée d'un motif végétal composé de trois feuilles partant d'un bouton central identique sur les quatre faces. Le layage et le décor laissent envisager une datation romane de ce chapiteau. Ce chapiteau peut être rapproché de deux autres conservés au Musée Archéologique de Dijon sous les numéros d'inventaire 994.1.2 et 994.1.3 et présentés par Christian Sapin dans le catalogue Sculpture médiévale en Bourgogne (Jannet, Joubert, 2000 : 119-120).
